Description
Blending technology and creativity, SoundLab introduces students to the world of video game music creation! Using analog synthesizers and interactive gadgets, we’ll embark on a hands-on, project-based adventure to create unique soundtracks and imaginative sound effects for video games. With one-on-one mentorship from real musicians, young learners are empowered to create their favorite styles of music.
Tailored for both beginners and advancing students, this program empowers young learners to develop lifelong musical and technological skills. At the end of the course, students will have the opportunity to submit their final tracks for release on Spotify and Apple Music!
Program Goals & Objectives
(1) Export at least one soundtrack to send to friends and family
(2) Give a 2-minute performance/presentation for friends and family, explaining your game concept and playing your music
